Summary

Prodigy Learning, in partnership with Minecraft Education, has launched the ‘Cyber in Minecraft’ credential programme, aimed at teaching cybersecurity skills to students. The program, the first release from their collaboration, uses Minecraft to engage students in learning digital citizenship, networking, and security. Upon completing the course and passing the capstone exam, students receive a certificate and digital badge. The initiative addresses the growing interest in cybersecurity careers and aims to open pathways into the sector. Prodigy and Minecraft Education plan to expand game-based credentialing to other subjects in the future.
