Abstract
'The project, which focuses on the training of future teachers in early childhood education, unfolds through an interactive and creative process that begins with an encounter situation with contemporary artists. These artists share their work but also lead creative workshops, providing the students with a direct and experiential artistic experience. From this initial immersion in contemporary art, the students are asked to design an educational proposal to be implemented in an early childhood school. This pro- cess includes consultation with the center’s teacher to ensure that the educational proposals are rele-vant and applicable. Collaboration with active professionals is a component that facilitates the transition from theoretical learning to real educational practice. Finally, the implementation of these pedagogical proposals varies in each group. In this case, an intervention focused on plastic exploration using natural elements is presented. This practical experience allows university students to directly test the challen-ges and rewards of teaching. This comprehensive approach not only enhances the understanding and practical application of art in education, but also develops their critical and creative skills, preparing them for future interventions with an innovative vocation.'
