Play-Based Learning Yields More Joy, Higher Scores at This Elementary School

Mansfield Elementary School in northeastern Connecticut reopened in 2023–24 with a focus on joy and guided play, aligning with new state legislation reintegrating play-based learning in early grades. Educational card game a hit with pupils

Sixteen pupils from Ekuthuleni Primary School in Durban are among 5,000 students across 100 eThekwini schools participating in the MindBlown game, a play-based learning tool. The game, added to the Domino Foundation's Life Skills program, encourages reading, teamwork, and learning science and technology facts.
