Summary
On June 14, the Regional Museum of Natural History, Bhopal, held interactive sessions as part of its Summer Nature Study Programmes — Green Cub and Green Teen — to promote environmental awareness. Green Cub participants played educational games on topics like waste segregation and water conservation, led by Dilip Kumar Chakravarty. Meanwhile, Green Teen attendees joined a Tree Identification session with Dr. Sudesh Waghmare, learning to recognize trees by their physical traits and understanding their ecological roles. The event concluded with a call to action for tree conservation, reinforcing the museum’s dedication to hands-on environmental education for youth.
