Summary
Three Morris County high schoolers are developing an AI-powered approach to financial literacy that uses video games, short films, and familiar digital storytelling to make money concepts easier for students to understand. Led in part by Evan Schwartz, the group wants lessons to feel more like entertainment than a classroom lecture. They have partnered with Gameclass, an educational video game platform used by thousands of organizations, to create scalable lessons for different ages. Their examples include using games to explain mortgages and other financial decisions. The teens also hope their work can support future New Jersey financial education requirements statewide.
