Summary
Portland’s tabletop role-playing scene is moving into public spaces, with venues like TPK Brewing helping players gather, learn, and build community around games such as Dungeons & Dragons. The article explains how TPK offers guided campaigns, paid Game Masters, table rentals, and newcomer-friendly events that make the hobby easier to enter. It also highlights Drop-In Dungeons, a no-cost, no-registration series that lets players participate casually at local venues. Grassroots conventions and gaming groups are also expanding, giving Portlanders more ways to connect. For many adult players, these shared adventures have become lasting friendships and a meaningful social outlet, too, locally.
