Summary

This week at Edison Academy, Cyber students transformed their classroom into a fully functioning arcade as part of the innovative “Classroom Arcade” project. Led by Mr. Aaron King, students from Network Administration, Cisco, and Exploring IT classes spent the year planning, designing, and building games. Inspired by a visit to George Mason University’s game room, they learned about budgeting, secured grants, and turned their classroom into a workshop. The final arcade opened to enthusiastic visitors, with students managing operations, troubleshooting, and customer service. The project fostered teamwork, creativity, and real-world skills while offering a fun, energizing break after exams.
