Summary

PBS KIDS has greenlit Skillsville, a new animated series aimed at teaching four- to eight-year-olds personal and career skills through video games. Premiering March 3 in English and Spanish, the 40-episode show follows three friends learning problem-solving and organizational skills while managing a virtual city. Created by Carol-Lynn Parente and animated by Sphere Media, the series promotes career readiness through engaging gameplay. Funded by the U.S. Department of Education, Skillsville also includes four related games on PBS platforms. PBS KIDS is also launching Mystery League, a civics-focused live-action series, alongside new episodes of existing educational shows.
