Summary

Dr. Susannah Emery, a researcher at the University of South Australia, is developing a video game called Life Resounding to provide insight into neurodivergence, such as ADHD, autism, and dyslexia. The game immerses players in the mind of a neurodivergent person, challenging them to complete everyday tasks while dealing with distractions and difficulties inherent in a neurotypical-designed world. The goal is to foster empathy and understanding of neurodivergent experiences. By simulating these challenges, Life Resounding encourages both neurotypical and neurodivergent players to reflect on the different ways people interact with their environments. The game is available for download online.
