Summary

Ok, yes there are video games that get the future completely wrong.

Whether this is a case of pure luck with so many video games trying to predict the future we might never know, but it is always fun to speculate.

The game accurately predicted the score of Superbowl LI. Perhaps one of the most incredible sporting predictions from a video game though was Football Manager's take on the 2015-2016 Premier League table.

The game simulation predicted Leicester would finish the season with 82 points, having won 24 games, drawn 10 and lost only 4.

Now onto a very sensitive topic, which not one but two mainstream video games predicted.

On the 22 June 2000 Deus EX was released and while it remains a critically acclaimed game and perhaps one of the best received games of all time.

Whether you think video game studios get lucky with their predictions or some of the details are just too accurate to be considered coincidence it remains a spark for conversation.
