Summary

Two Park City High School students, Taylor Bergman and Garrett Moreno, helped create interactive history games through the PCCAPS program, which connects students with real-world business projects. Partnering with Victoria Sanders of Elephanta Education, they contributed to developing and testing the "Brave" game series aimed at middle and high school students. Launched in 2018, the games simulate historical events through role-playing, trade modeling, and decision-making to enhance critical thinking. Bergman emphasized their goal was to create games "for students, by students." Over 3,000 Wyoming students have already used the games in classrooms to learn U.S. history in an engaging way.
