Summary

The Genzero campaign is accessible through the ValuesCo web app, serving as a platform for participants to embark on impactful actions aligned with campaign goals.

Nonprofit organizations contribute actions, creators present these actions to their audiences, and brands incentivize actions through sweepstakes, products, experiences, and donations.

Participants earn points for their actions, which can be redeemed for various prizes.

These rewards will be unveiled and made available for redemption on Friday, December 1, at 12 pm EST. The urgency of the campaign aligns with the recent IPCC report from the UN, emphasizing the need for ambitious emissions reduction actions by 2030 to limit temperature rise within 1.5°C and avert widespread disaster.

Participants will be presented with 4 to 6 actions for each respective pillar, encouraging activities such as consuming a vegan meal, using public transit, signing petitions, and organizing community actions.

Influencers will play a crucial role in mobilizing grassroots action among their followers, fostering a continued ripple effect of positive change.

Katy Jacobs, Director of Entertainment Partnerships at the National Resource Defense Council, highlights the role of the campaign in empowering and mobilizing people for climate solutions, stating, "That's why NRDC is thrilled to be a part of this coalition highlighting diverse solutions, encouraging tangible actions and hopefully, expanding the climate movement".
